Discount management
In the quoting process, it is often necessary to apply different discounts to different products. In uplan, you can do this as follows.
You can find the manufacturer discounts section in the profile settings:
1. Click on this icon:
2. Enter the name of the manufacturer you are looking for or select from the list:
In this case we wanted to give a 10% discount on Loxone products:
There will certainly be cases where you enter a manufacturer that is not yet listed. No problem, if this happens, it will be automatically created for you and you can use it in other areas of the software:
For this, click on the "Add as a new manufacturer" icon
For all projects you create after this date, the manufacturer's discounts given here will be applied if the project includes products from that manufacturer.

Setting a profile-level manufacturer discount is very useful because if you apply a discount to all your projects, you won’t have to enter it manually each time.
Of course, if you want to adjust the discount for a specific project, you can easily do so with just a few clicks within that project.
